getting in

well it is not easy to get into a secret place when it is pitch dark, deadly creatures, and a mother and daughter that keeps talking.
Me: Mom! give me the flashlight!
Mom: You really want to die?!
she knew i didn't want to die. i want to live my life and live it.
Me: Well if you don't give me the flashlight, we're going to die very soon.
Mom: Ha ha ha, very funny. just hold ny hand. i know the way
i haven't held my moms hand since i became a big girl . . . WAIT A MINUTE THERE!
Me: how do you know the way down here? do you come here when i fail a test?
Mom: i came here when the Disaster of 1997 happened.
Me: i was one then , wasn't i? i was there.
Mom: why do you think you have that black spot on your back?
Me: i love you Snowball. I LOVE YOU!
Mom: Shut up!
i actually did shut up because she used her angry voice. you know the voice when some one is actually serious. i think that she's really scared. i held her hand and she took me through the dark tunnel of hope
(i made this up because we need it). i held Snowball in my other arm but she's a pretty heavy puppy that has a bunch of tangled fur. cross your fingers we make it.

finder keeper's, loser wiepers

Me: mom what did i find.

my looked too happy to be listening to me so i grabbed my flashlight to see more. as soon as i licked it on i saw a bunch of bats on the roof. but these bats were human size. and they were dripping with this gue that looked brownish/yellowish. it was really weird. my mother quickly took my flashlight and turned it off.
Mom: never do that to a cave full of Bamts, they get really hungry in the light.
Me: then why were you smiling just a minute ago. explain that would ya?
Mom: this is the entrance where humans could only be safe but the only and most dangerous way to get there. this is our only chance to have a normal life.
i just stared at my mom not believing her because there will always be danger anywhere we go. and we will always be the top of the food chain. there is no stopping that.
Me: is dad and jasper down there?
they went missing when they went to go get pizza since i wanted pizza. they left for pizza, came back missing. i knew it was my fault. why was my stomach so mean to me. why? thye were last seen going to the bathroom but never came out. that night went half of my life. i was only 10 and my brother, jasper was only 6, & my dad was only 41. it was hard for all of us. it has been haunting me for 4 years
Mom: i don't know if their here.
Me: you haven't told me what this place was called?
i stood there for a minute till my mom came to her senses.
Mom: this place is called Hart
i'm going to live in a hart. i wonder how much love is in here.

i don't know where we are but it looked abandoned like when vampires came to life. i didn't want to go in it but i had to follow my mom like a five year old. i felt small. like usual. I'm short for my age. but i look younger which my mom says is good but i don't always want o get the kids menu. they are cheap though. my mom is ahead of me like by ten feet probably. i take a step forward then BAM!!! i fall into this hole. when i land, my dog, Snowball lands on my head. i could have gone blind! i wouldn't have known the difference because it was pitch dark. i got up to feel for a wall but then i scream
me: AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
mom: it's just me, Brooky
my heart immediately slows down to almost a turtle. my mom has torch lit on fire. she's smiling.
mom: meeha, you found it
i don't know what i found but it better have a reason why I'm here.

why are we leaving?

you know i am a little scared. okay a lot scared but don't judge me for that. all i am doing in the floating car is bulging my eyes out and my head is feeling all claustrophobic. my dog is the only happy one in the car. i bet she thinks we're going to the dog park. she always gets treats. i never get anything. my mom looks calm but it just feels awkward right now to ask her anything.
me: Mom, why did we leave like there were flesh - eating lice.
Mom: it is for our safety. ( she starts to mumble)
me: if it's for my safety then you'll tell me
Mom: not now meeha, later
i just sat there scared out of my mind not knowing what was going to happen next.

asap : home

when i got home my mom was rushing out the doors with a bunch of luggage. i rushed to my mom.
me: Mom what are you doing?
mom: We have to leave now! Get what ever you can get, and get out!
i didn't know what was happening but my mom did look worried and scared and she was trying to rush me. i ran to my room and got the duffel bag from under my bed and packed the most important things to me. i got my secret box that has all the little important things. two sweaters from my grandmother who i call ma. my 2 favorite jeans. a picture of my dad and my little brother. a picture of my grandparents. a picture of my friends. and i got my ipod, my laptop, and my camera. i took this huge book that i could never leave behind for some reason.
mom: BROOKE WE HAVE TO LEAVE NOW!!!!
me: COMING!!
i grabbed my dog and her stuff which included her food and her toys. she could go days without bathing. i ran out my door and into my mom's floating car. being humans, we're immune to all the magical diseases. and we get a free flying car so we could run away from evil magical monsters. though some are nice. i don't know what is happening but i knew it wasn't good.

boring. algebra is so boring. i wonder what other people are thinking. woh. i just felt a vibration from my pocket. i know it's my cell phone but the teacher, Ms. Barney(Barney) is right in front of me. a girl raises her hand. Barney goes to see what she wants. its not like she really cares. when she first turns her head i look at my phone. its from my dad that says: come home asap. i don't know what has happened but i do know it has to be inportant.
